Dieser Caol Ila präsentiert nach 7 Jahren Reifung in einem Refill Hogshead die torfige Islay-Welt mit einem maritimen Start und ordentlich Torfrauch, aber auch mit frischer Minze und Zitrusnoten. Er verbleibt lange mit feiner Honigsüße.
Tasting Notes
Nose: A coastal nose with some peat smoke and peppermint leaves.
Palate: Is warming, some subtle ginger spice with oatcakes. Give it time to open up and some citrus notes appear.
Finish: has a good length, creamy with butterscotch and Scottish heathered honey.
